Denver/Boulder Trip

Hey guys, I'm heading for Denver today for a week and will be visiting Boulder and surrounding areas, including the Rocky Mountain National Park. Any recommendations for cigar stores to pick up some sticks while I am there? I'm taking a nice stash, but love to visit some good brick and mortar places while I travel. Any suggestions on that or even good places to eat would be most appreciated. Thanks. Steve

Not cigars, but stop in at Great Divide in Denver for a pint or two.

I really like Edward's Pipe and Tobacco on South Broadway in Englewood (just north of Hampden). They have a huge selection and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Prince Philips Cigars & Tobaccos just moved to a spacious new location in the Micro Center Plaza very close to I-25 and I-225. The exact address is:

Prince Philips Cigars & Tobaccos
8000 E. Quincy Ave. #1400
Denver, CO 80237

303-221-1182

It is right next door to the Dam Grille (get your beer on), so you cannot miss it.

There are comfy chairs where you can sit and puff your cigar or pipe indoors, free WiFi and even a tiny one-hole putt putt golf practice place. The cigars are the top of the line - best of the best. Personally I recommend the Hoya de Nicaragua, but all of the Fuentes are damn good, especially the Maduros. Oh, and if you are a pipe smoker too, as I am, I recommend their Victorian Standard brand of pipe tobacco. You will thank me for it later.

Browns Palace is a great place to have a cigar. It is one of the oldest hotels in Downtown and they have a nice lounge just off the lobby.
