Blank cigar bands

I did a search and only came up with threads from 2 years ago, so I'm wondering if anything better has come out sine.

I've read that the bands from a popular bead seller don't have enough adhesive, and the online label company isn't really what I was looking for.

Has anything new and improved come out recently? I just want something to write down dates and where/who I got the cigar from.

Thanks, Tony

I'd like to get in on some of this band action as well.

I just ordered a sample of some bands yesterday.
If I like them, I think I will see if I can organize a group buy.
I'll keep you posted

Definitely not enough adhesive on the ones I bought from the bead co. Also find myself using a little tape on top of the bands for 60 gauges...

Here is what I use, put in the info into the spreadsheet, print, cut them out and secure with some scotch tape.

You can check and see if this guy's still got some. He did group buy of tens of thousands - not sure there's any left:

They aren't the best, but not bad and they're cheap.

I personally thought the onlinelabels were great, just a little pricey.

I was doing that for a while.
Either it's far too tedious, or I'm far too lazy.
Depends on whether you ask me or my wife! :D

If I can get this together the price would be about $.01 per band over what the link is selling them for.

I would like to snag some of these in a GB too.
I tried those Super Stickey post-its and they seem to well for about a week, but who knows how long after that.

I would definitely be interested in this as well. Struggling with this myself.

I've gotten two batches from GBs and while the first was better, the second was close to useless. Bands don't stick at all.

You're better off using the spreadsheet solution; if you're gonna have to use adhesive tape anyway, might as well just use printed bands, cut them out and tape them. Plus, I don't have to decipher my scribbles down the line.

Any word on the bands Dom?

Re: Blank cigar bands

I've started using the aforementioned spreadsheet and scotch tape, works good enough for me without spending extra cash. So I'll take my name out of the group buy.

I got the samples and they are great.
I will look into doing a group buy, though it most likely won't be until I'm back from SoCal. :)
