Travel French Press
Some of you may know these exist and some of you may be in the dark like I was until this weekend. I found a travel press this weekend:
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7067/6...2963026a_z.jpg I found this one at Starbucks for $15.00, and I saw a couple in an organic grocery store. So far it is working well, however it keeps the coffee super hot and I have burned my tongue a few times this morning already. |
Re: Travel French Press
I have one and it works well. I try to make my coffee first, then get ready for work. By the time Im on the road, its cooled down enough to drink.

Re: Travel French Press
You could always wait for the coffee to cool down a bit......Ah who am I kidding that's not what US coffee drinkers do, Burning your face off for a good cup of French press is a small price to pay :D...coffee.... coffee!! COFFEE!!! COFFEE!!!!!

Re: Travel French Press
That looks very cool. I bought my son something similar this last Christmas.
http://www.liquidplanet.com/estore/p...p?imageid=2599 It was more expensive but it does store another cup's worth of ground coffee in the base which I thought was kind of cool. |

Re: Travel French Press
Great pick up. I went with a small FP for work but should have done the cup like yours. Less to wash.
Another idea that another BOTL pointed me to was this setup for camping which even has its own heat source http://www.rei.com/product/791310/je...flash-java-kit |

I also found a shorter one at the grocery store, but the Starbucks one seemed nicer. |
