Heading to Miami
 

I'm going to Miami for my first time this week. I'll be there Thursday through Sunday. Are there any locals on here that have any tips on where to stay, or locals only deals on rental cars, etc? Any herfs happening this weekend while I'm down there?

Thanks. I'm working on my own sinus infection too, but I've never been to Miami so it's worth the sacrifice.

Not sure where you're staying, but give this a look if you can swing it..

Close enough to South Beach, but also far enough when you want it to be.

Not sure where you're eating, but I wouldn't miss Versailles on Calle Ocho.

That looks nice, but I'm booked at the Extended Stay Suites by the airport. 1/3 price. I'm definitely going to spend some quality time on Calle Ocho.

Trust me, you won't. There's not much to see there. An hour or two at the most.

It's pretty much of a dump. Now South Beach on the other hand...
