CA teamwork on Cbid!

For those of us who bid on the Devil Site,
We should all add our CA username into the notes field when placing a bid.
This would help in two ways:

1) We would recognize a fellow BOTL from CA is bidding, and we could choose not to bid against them.:tu
2) We would recognize a fellow BOTL from CA is bidding, and we could choose to bid against them.:r

Just check the winning bids before placing a bid.
I started doing this, here is an example of what it looks like under the winning bids tab:

Well well wouldn't ya know it! I'm on there.

That is what got me thinking, when you told me you won 2 for $5 I thought maybe that was you.

I like the idea BTW. I will start from here on. I do have 45 or so open auction currently but I won't bid any more with out my Sig.

They are using the "max-bid" feature.

It's an awesome idea.
I bid on a bunch of stuff for the troops this week, that'd have been a big help. :tu

Good thinkin' I like this idea... haha.. bid against them.. Of course, If I did outbid someone.. It would have to be for a good reason.. I may even send them a stick or 2 of what they were trying to get.

Real note, Good idea though. Good looking out.

I'm in. There is nothing stopping anyone from here or anywhere else from bidding on anything they like. You just have the opportunity to not out bid a friend if you know they are the high bidder or they are looking for something and you don't want to run the price up on them. I don't understand why this would be a big deal, it is a normal everyday thing at a public auction.

People could also team up on box purchases to keep the prices low.

I was just pulling this thread up for that point. If you see a fellow member bidding on something you want.. and the quantity is enough. You can hop on here PM that member seeing if they might want to do a split or something.

FYI/SA, in the past, CI has been rumored to (accused of?) deleting notes if they believe them to be done for purpose of collusion.....not saying shouldn't do it; just don't be too surprised if they don't like it much

Sounds like a great plan! I'll be doing it on future bids
