wrapper on or off?

Should i leave the wrappers on my cigars when i store them in the humidor or will it dry them out?

Re: wrapper on or off?

I smoke my cigars with the wrappers on...now the cello on the other hand...http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showth...ighlight=cello;)

Personally, I keep them however I got them.

Re: wrapper on or off?

You take your wrappers off? :r :r

It's a personal preference on the cello on/cello off debate. I, personally, keep it on so the sticks don't get damaged. :2

Wrappers on, cello on and I put my singles in sleeve bags.
This thread makes me smile!

Re: wrapper on or off?

I usually leave the wrapper on. Cello is your choice, usually helps to protect and doesn't affect aging.

bring it up to what?

IMO, I would leave it at 64% and see how you like it.

Re: wrapper on or off?

Not going to hurt anything at 64, goes to preference on what rel. humidity smokes best for you(taste, burn, enjoyment, etc...)

Re: wrapper on or off?

i was reading it should be between 68% to 72% i wanted to bring it up to somewhere between that

There are LOTS of stickies here you can read that have a wealth of information. Look in this sub forum and the accessories sub forum.

Use the search option here, any questions you have now have probably been asked many times before and answered by the wealth of knowledge from the senior members here in the Asylum like Peter. If you can't find it, were always happy to give smart a$$ answers too...

Yes, Always feel free to ask the questions you have. The only stupid question is the one never asked. No one is going to flame you for asking something you don't know, or has been asked before. The worse is they might direct you to the search function.
