Looks like an old school cigar. I found this old box for El Briche brand, produced in Tampa, by San Martin & LEON Co.

My guess would be that it was a penny cigar at the time of production, and unless stored persistently will taste like smoking paper. I would keep it as memorabilia instead of smoking it.

Thanks moe....near as I can figure this thing is more than 50 years old. It'll go in my "conversation piece" pile. Kinda fun.
