My Father El Hijo

This 5.5×52 stick features a dark chocolate wrapper with a soft, buttery satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a partial box press, even pack with slight spongy give, a rich oily chocolate and tobacco aroma and a little bit of a shaggy foot. This is the 3rd of 4 installments of Smoke Inn 15th anniversary series microblends. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick full bodied flavors of leather, pepper, chocolate, tobacco and an oily pepper finish. The first third comes down to a medium-full body with a good bit of strength kick to boot. Flavors are very silky smooth and oily with chocolate, cocoa, an aged tobacco and touch of pepper. The finish is growing shorter with just a slight oily tobacco and pepper zing. 25 minutes in the 2nd third progresses with a deep earth on the retrohale with creamy chocolate and cocoa flavors on the draw, with a good bit of pepper zing through the finish. 45 minutes in at the end of the 2nd third, flavors shift to a strong coffe flavor while retaining the smooth tobacco and hints of chocolate. The burn evened out to almost razor sharp and the draw is perfect. Ending with an inch left where it got VERY hot, the last bit showed no further changes. Video on the site |

These are pretty tasty. The review is right on. I have a box of these sitting in the cooler. Not sure how much rest they need. Was gonna leave them there for like 6 months.
