Seems That I Won an Auction - Padilla Miami Churchills
 

Was just looking around on CBID the other day after being absent on that site for 5 years. Found a box of the Padilla Miami Churchills and said what the hell - Put a bid in for $100 bucks not expecting to win. Seems that I won - That was easy. Looks like I got them for about 1/2 of their retail price.

I smoked a box of the Original 8/11's years ago and it seems the ones I won are a new blend. Hope they are similar in taste profile as the original Pepin blend - Those were an amazing complex, smooth and strong smoke. Fingers are crossed.

The new Miami's are totally different from the old 8/11's. That being said, they're fantastic cigars and the robusto makes it into my regular rotation. Very rich and robust with a nice complexity.
