Meet Chopper
 

So I have admittedly have some poor luck with rescues......but when the "Dog Day" friend came in with a boxer he had rescued(divorce) from his brother, I just couldn't resist.... I REALLY hope it works out.....

So meet Chopper....

well your doing good so far,he looks happy. Look he's even sticking his tongue out at you and is letting you take a picture and letting the kids near him.

Congrats EJ. I've had several rescue dogs in my life, and it makes me feel better to know that they are having a second chance at a great life with me and my family. When our Dane (Dudley) goes, we will likely get another rescued Dane. :tu

Chopper looks happy, and so does the girl! Rescue dogs seem to know that they have a new life with someone that wants them and loves them.
I have never met a boxer I didn't like. Years ago, I got a rescue boxer and gave her 5 or 6 more years than she ever would have had. Tess was a great dog, escape artist, and runner, but would talk to me all day, hums, moans, faux growls and some very elaborate vocalizations. I would have another in a heartbeat if I could.

Congratulations on your new family member!!! Also, for rescuing Chopper! He looks like he is a big boy, but sure he is a sweetheart. I have a 6mt old boxer, Duke, and they make great companions. Like Pete said, They do like to talk:r My last Boxer would tell me "I love you", and other various dog codes!
