Moist-n-aire humidifier problem
Lately my humidifier has been acting weird. I have it set for 65 but there are times when it will kick on and keep going until it reached the low-mid 70s. There are also times it will dip below 62 and not kick on at all!
Anyone else have this problem before? Any solutions? I know I can get another humidifier but don't have the budget for one right now. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Moist-n-aire humidifier problem
I think the moist-n-aire units can be repaired/rebuilt fairly easily since there isn't much to them and they are mostly just off the shelf HVAC/climate parts from what I remember. You might have to get the parts from Grainger or Johnstone Supply though, I don't know if the company sells parts direct.
IIRC, Wes (gonesledn) rebuilt his moist-n-aire a few years ago. |
Re: Moist-n-aire humidifier problem
BTW - sounds like a humidity sensor or a dodgy relay.
