La Gloria Cubana Serie R Robusto

Nice construction. Steady burn even with the freezing rain here in NY. Medium/full-bodied with nice espresso flavors. Thanks to Rick (Bunker) for this excellent smoke. :tu
Something about Black Swan.
Unrelated anecdote about sniffing glue with Ian Gillan and the horn section from Earth, Wind, and Fire.

The Serie R are always a great smoke. I prefer the Maduro but the Naturals are very good too. The Robusto is one of my favorite sizes, but I have not had this particular one. Thanks for posting your review -- a nice reminder for me to try one of these!

I really like these cigars. I first tried a maduro in a JR Herf-In-A-Box a few years back and instantly it became one of my favorites. I have yet to buy a whole box though as they run a little higher than my budget can afford right now.
