Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/catDisp.asp?cat=147
Any of those worth picking up? Like as In...they taste decent-goodISH and can be used as a cheap smoke or pass off to friends? Or a quick smoke where you would smoke half of the cigar and chuck it? |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
I say no, but I don't believe in smoking dog rockets. And I like giving my friends good smokes so they will descend down the slippery slope like I have. Life's too short for bad cigars.

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
My Opinion, "No". Spend Your Money On Some Quality Sticks, Brother!;)

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Im with maninblack but I will say that the Liga IV's aren't bad at all. If you're looking for a yard gar or something to puff on while not paying attention.

None of those are worth smoking on the worst of occasions. For the money you can find better smokes on Cigarbid.com, cigarmonster or joecigar.
Here is a long thread on cheap smokes. Most of the cigars listed are still available. http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=643 |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
I agree with everyone. Don't buy em. Crap is crap and who wants to hand out crap to a friend? Friends get great sticks. Awesome sticks that you know and love.
Now if you want to buy some and find out what smokin crap is all about, rock and roll brother but I'm pretty sure you're not gonna be a big fan after the headache wears off. |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
I would agree with the above. Buy some sampler packs, you can usually get a great variety and find some gems.

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Centenarios are awful. One of the worst handmades I've ever smoked. I fart upon Felipe Gregorio for making this cigar.
Magellans are pretty bad too. Don Elias sucks too. |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
None of the suckage on that page holds a candle to the FreeCuba! I think you can still find Ratters review of this foul smoke somewhere here. :pu

Admittedly I only had a couple of them a good while ago so I wouldn't doubt my memory being wrong. |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Some horrible smokes there...if you're looking for cheap...check out devil's weed...semi decent.

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
There should be a thread on the WORST cigars so us noobs know which to stay away from. Although, everyone has different standards. And different tastes. Nevermind.
|
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Hate to admit it, but I actually have smoked about 2/3 of the cigars on that page.
Years ago the Centenarios used to be decent. Not worth the $8-10 MSRP tag that they carry. But for two bucks, sure. I have no idea what the current crop of them is like. Nothing else on there though that I would touch again unless I was sending it to the troops so they could use them to interrogate unfriedlies by forcing the unfriendlies to smoke them, but I think there's a Geneva convention accord against things like that. |
Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Ok quick topic change recommend me a good sampler for $50 ish on CI

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
I am a big fan of the 5 vegas line for cheap smokes. They have the 5 vegas historical collection that has 16 cigars for $40.

Re: Ordering stuff from CI and had a question
Do it!
