Most of you probably know about this but I'll post it anyway for those who don't, or who have forgotten...you can get free samples from Altadis...iirc you can do this once a year and they send you three or four pouches of pipe tobacco...you're choice of aromatic, non-aromatic, or english blends...make sure when filling out the form to receive your samples that you uncheck the "opt-in" box and check "no" to save your email inbox from a flood of spam...

Altadis pipe tobacco is, for the most part, a joke imo. Fox & Hound is decent but never had another one from them that I could ever see myself smoking again.

Sent in my order just now. I have always wanted to try a pipe. A fellow BOTL smokes one when he isn't smoking a cigar and he saws he can get me lined up on a decent pipe to start out on and giude me through it. Maybe this will expand my tabacco hobby.

When you guys order don't expect it to come in the next couple weeks. This has been going on for a couple years and the average wait time is anywhere from 2-6 months.

Also, don't be surprised if you don't get the type of tobacco you signed up for. I put English and got Aromatics. It's free though, so it's hard to complain. :)

I have to admit, I enjoy Blue Note quite a bit. Hated the other two blends they sent though.
