Whats the smoke situation in Columbia? Where can you smoke downtown?

I have been away from there for a while but this used to be a good place, it is not downtown though. I don't know of one downtown but somebody else might. I would call them and check because they have some new smoking laws too.

The only places worth smoking IMO @ are The Tobacco Merchant (Harbison) and Smoke Em Up (Northeast).

Everywhere else is columbia/lexington has pretty much gone smoke free :(

What about places with patios? Or rooftops? I can't believe they dont have a B&M downtown.

It sucks, but what they do have is a great bunch of BOTL there that will point you in the best direction, and if you get a chance herf with them!

There are a couple places that have patios, but most of them frown on cigar smokers. There is a B&M downtown but its extremely small called the Cigar Box on Rosewood Drive.

PM me when you come up and we can set up a time and place to meet for a smoke. As Dave said, there are alot of great local BOTL and we love to herf :D

I just left Columbia last week and stayed downtown. I believe you can smoke in Jillians' (saw a small display case of cigars at the front). I chose to go out to this great B & M about 20 min away called Lite 'Um Up Cigar Lounge. Fantastic owner (Tom) and nice setting. For my first visit there I never felt like a stranger. Excellent of beers to satisfy any pallate. :tu
