Victor Sinclair Vintage Select Lonsdale

Scored a 5er of these from cbid for $7.

Humidor time: 1 month

Prelight: Nice construction, oily wrapper. Prelight draw is moderate, tasting of coffee, chocolate, and cedar.

Burn: Great burn, got a little wavy a few times but self-corrected. Ash was tight and held on well.

Flavor: Flavors were great, dark coffee, chocolate, and cedar, with a mild spice that picked up a bit in the last third. Very creamy.

Summary: I've had pretty good luck with VS sticks. They do need some rest, but they're tasty, and you can get great deals on quite a few blends from cbid.

This stick and the Triple Corojo are the only VS sticks that I like.

The Triple Corojo is one of my goto sticks. You can score a box of robustos for ~$40 if you're patient.

Thanks for the review. I don't hold VS in high regard, but I might need to try one of these - when I allow myself to go back onto the devil site, that is.
