lesson in logic
 

A fourth-grade teacher was giving her class a lesson in logic. She presented
the following scenario to her class. "A man who was out fishing in the boat stood up for some
reason. While standing, he lost his balance, and fell overboard, fully-clothed. His wife ran down
to the bank when she heard him scream, even though she had no
knowledge of how to swim. Do you know why?"

The little girl in the front row said, "I know why, Miss Johnson. She went
down to the bank to withdraw all their money
