Dell Mini 10V running OSX
For about $300, you can get a reasonably speedy MAC clone!

Pretty cool! Did you install OSX? How's the compatibility working? Thinking about going tri-boot with Vista, Ubuntu, OSX.

Yep..OSX...and well i was going to dual boot OSX/Windows 7...but I reconsidered since I only use Windows for work.

This sucker is for use around town...maybe for traveling to herfs (if I ever get to go to one again...stupid work/family).

Links here work best for me with OSX and multi-boot

Here's mine:

You should consider switching the "ALT" and the Windows key (since the Windows key is command in OS X).

EDIT:

Forgot to add that the Mini 9 is currently on sale for $199.99 and the Vostro A90 is on sale for $229.99!

How does it run OSX? Any bugs? I had OSX on my mini9 but took it off due to a few compatibility issues. I love my macbook, but the minimac just wasn't the same.

Which method did you use to install? Which version of OS X?

Mine is rock solid.

I don't remember the name of the method, but it was the way www.mydellmini.com said to do back late last winter/early spring. I got two finger scrolling to work, but it was buggy, and the sound would get static at random times.

I'm sure they've improved it since then, but really, for a net book, windows XP works just fine.

The new Netbook Bootmaker method is a lot better. I actually used the DellEFI method for mine but I just built another one for a friend yesterday and it was much easier. There are a lot of new kexts out too that really help. The only issue I have is the occasional hang on restart after sleep.

I couldn't be happier with my Mini 9 running os x.

I would run Ubuntu Netbook Remix on a Netbook before I ran XP (although I did dual boot OS X and XP for a bit but never really used XP).

If I decide to try it again I'll have to PM you to get info on that. My other big holdup was that the SD card reader was buggy as well with OSX. I have no doubt it's gotten better now.

Yes, fell free. All of the bugs that you mentioned were problems that have been solved with recent releases.
