Does RH fall or rise?
I was sitting thinking about this, does the actual RH ( not the fluctuation of RH but the humidity itself ) rise, sink or stay in the middle in a humidor?
If that confused ya, where does the humidity sit in a humidor? Towards the bottom or the top? |
Re: Does RH fall or rise?
Humidity rises. I keep humidification in the bottom-center of my humidors.

Re: Does RH fall or rise?
It diffuses.

Re: Does RH fall or rise?
I thought humidity was dense but rises about a certain temp.

Re: Does RH fall or rise?
If the humi is tight there will be no stratification unless it's tall in proportions. If you have fans in there they will distribute the moisture evenly. If the humi is small the moisture will wander around randomly (diffuse) until it leaves the humi.

Re: Does RH fall or rise?
For fans they rent really necessary right? Or are they good to have?
The oust fan cant be had anymore, and nothing replaced it in terms of size correcT? |
Re: Does RH fall or rise?
If you get into Vinotemp sized humis, computer fans work well.
