Had the opportunity to sit outside and smoke a Illusione 23. Great smoke, burned beautifully from start to finish. Lots of smoke, and great flavors. A nice break from the straight ones lol. :tu

I want to try one of those. What is the theory on them? Like why are they twisted together, or is it just that.. Nothing special, just twisted together.

“Culebra” means “snake” in spanish it's a classic Cuban roll that's been around a long time. From what I've read they moisten the cigars enough so that they can twist them into that shape. Takes a very skilled roller. They are pretty cool and always a conversation starter when spotted in a humidor.

Was it not also a way to defeat the taxes since they are considered a single cigar? Just think I heard that somewhere.
