Cain Maduro - Review
Date: 8/21/09
Cigar: Cain Maduro (5.75 x 50) Cost: Free because a friend gave it to me. Thanks BengalMan Drink: Barq's Creme Soda This is a triple fermented 100% ligero cigar that was created by Sam Leccia. Appearance: This has a maduro wrapper on it. There were no veins showing. The band is simple and classy. The appearance gets a 8/10 http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...00_1837_00.jpg Pre-Light: It has a strong flavor that is hard to describe. Construction: Held an average ash. The ash was kind of flaky. The draw was perfect. The cigar required only a few minor touchups because I am very picky about having a cigar burn perfectly Taste of the cigar: This cigar has a peppery and woodsy flavor to it. I also picked up a hint of chocolate at one point. Here is my smoking buddy Henry: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...o/100_1839.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...00_1840_00.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...00_1841_00.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...00_1842_00.jpg Strength: This is without a doubt a full bodied cigar. Summary: This cigar was really, really, really, (did I say really?) good. I would definitely these again. I give it a 9/10. |

First taste was a tad harsh, but settled down quickly. A far better-than-average smoke. Also tried the habano wrapper... still a full bodied stick, but was a little more mellow than the maduro. Both are fine cigars, no doubt! :ss |
Re: Cain Maduro - Review
