Can you "repair" loose wrapper leaves?

Sometimes I've had the odd cigar have a slightly loose wrapper that's started to unravel a little bit, be it either by wrong humidity or just damage in transit etc. Does anyone know a safe way to stick the wrapper leaf back down if nedds be?

The grocery store has it. Just ask them for either Pectin or vegetable glue.

Grocery Store. Liquid Pectin. Its usually with the food preservatives along with canning supplies. Use a small fine brush to repair the loose wrapper and then let dry. Hope this helps

Spit-tin works well, too. ;)

Or, try this stuff. Search on it. It can be found around $4.

El Torcedor Cigar Glue

I have repaired many cigars with liquid pectin and it works great. Just keep the extra in a jar in the fridge. I apply it with a toothpick and let it dry for a few minutes.

One time I was in a cigar shop and the owner was pulling out some damaged Rocky Patel the Edge cigars that had been dropped. He was going to throw them away but I told him that I would take them. I fixed all 10 of them with pectin and they smoked perfectly.

You can even make a patch for small holes or cracks by clipping the end and using that tobacco.

Arabic Gum works as well (stuff used on rolling papers)

I've just had a really good thought (for me anyway!), I could use normal rolling papers but fold it in half with the gum facing outwards, then moisten the gum on both sides and slide it under the loose part, gently press on it to transfer some of the gum to the leaf and pull it out then press the wrapper down to stick it. Only costs about 25p for 50 papers!

Phew....I need to sit sdown for a rest after all that thinking

I use slobber. I'd like a bottle of that cigar glue with the little brush though, it'd be cool.
