Vietnamese Drip Iced Coffee
 

I sense a great lack of a thread about this. So much so I had to go back to "the other site that shall not be named" in order to find Mister Moo's original post on this subject matter!

After a hot day in Oregon this was something I craved. When shopping for the supplies (tin drip filter, Cafe du Monde coffee, sweetened condensed milk) and started making VDIC. Mmmm.

So who else is enjoying this sublime variation now that the weather has gone uncomfortably warm?

I love it!!! I have a Viet. dripper. You can find them at most Asian markets for around $5. Simply delish.

Viet iced this weekend, for sure; got some sweetened condensed milk a couple of days ago; bought 20-lbs of green Costa Rican beans in Sturgis (enroute to Mr. Rushmore) last week and roasted 2-lb this evening after dinner. Mmmmmm. Viet iced coffee is SOOOOOOOOO good.

Oh, and teh sweetend condensed is the way to go in any coffee!!
