Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
 
I didn't see a thread for this. Movie opens Wednesday. I've got my tickets already for Wednesday night. Anyone else planning to see it this week?

A friend on mine wants me to go with him, but I am leery or attending a summer blockbuster with youth appeal in the first few weeks of release. Call me old-fashioned, but I like to hear the soundtrack.

It is composed very well. I'd stay away form all the Potter Fanboys as well too. Just too much chaos

i cannot wait...I'm not sure about youth appeal but i know plenty of adults very excited for this movie.

Honestly, I'll go see it on Wednesday, and probably go see it again once it opens at the IMAX - think they are opening a week, maybe two later, because of Transformers. So I'm not so concerned with the noise level.

the last movie was even better in Imax..especially the last 10 min of HP that were in 3D :tu

Being that it is my favorite book of the series, I would love to go see it, but the Wifey working nights, chances of me finding a sitter to watch the boy, looks like I'll be waiting for the DVD again :c
I just hope that it doesn't detract from the book too much
