I once bought curtains.

I picked them out, bought the curtain rods, and even put them up.
Once you've crossed that line, there's no going back.

Even worse, I'm afraid.
I bought square plates, invented coathanger hanger things, and decorated my kitchen walls. I bought bowls and "sitting around" stuff, too. :(

This is no sh1t...
I saw my doctor a couple weeks ago. I must have seemed weepy, because she quadrupled my testosterone shots.
I went from 1 mg once a month to 2mg twice a month.
Maybe she heard about the curtains???

Now I'm eating 20mg of valium a day so I don't kill anyone.
I sure hope I can find a real doctor before someone dies.

I &^%$#@ hate curtain and home accessory shopping. After I waste my time and money putting that stuff up, I forget what it looks like because it just doesn't register visually any more. So why bother in the first place? If it's reasonably presentable, hygenic and functional, it will do.

I recently moved out of an apartment I spent five years living in. The first night I moved in, the neighbor's light was so goddamn bright I taped black plastic garbage bags together to make "curtains" in the bedroom to block it. They worked fine. I forgot they were there and never thought about them again. Problem solved.

Fast forward five years to moving day. Oops, I guess I better pull down and throw away these damn garbage bags.....
