Very nice especially since you don't need to put in a cc. A lot of times you will get a free subscription, but have to put in your cc. So what the companies would do is renew your subscription for a very high price.

I have no car, and do not drive. But this may be a better deal that you think - about six years ago I signed up for a free 'script to Maxim, and I'm still getting that rag.

FWIW there are a lot of complaints about the Synapse Group on ripoffreport.com for these free magazines. Just be careful.
