J Fuego 777 Corojo Corona

It was very interesting. There was a lot of herbal flavor and at first it reminded me of bitter raw nuts and burning leaves. After the initial light I waited about a minute and the bitterness disappeared, just the initial light and heat made the flavor that way. The draw and burn were perfect which is a big change from the 777 Maduro. The flavor progressed from a spicy herbal tobacco flavor to a somewhat sweet and creamy spice. After the second third it gave me a Cubanesque tanginess and spice. I let it go with about 3/4" left.

Overall I would say that I liked this cigar. I would give it a 6/10.

Interesting the 777 I had was completely opposite, basically made me want to die.

Thanks for the review!!!

I really didn't care for the 777 Maduro, maybe the Corojo is better!!!

Tried a maddie 777 robusto....just didn't care for it. Not very expensive....I got what I paid for.

Smoked my first J.Fuego 777 last night for Happy Hour. A Corojo Toro that sat for several months. Call me contrarian, but I thought it was a pretty good cigar! Tasty combination of coffee, caramel, the signature peppery/sweetness of the corojo, and an interesting aftertaste I could only describe as woody with smoked meat. Burn was great, needing no correction, & the draw was perfect throughout. Maybe I caught a rare good one, or maybe it was the Makers Mark accompaniment, but I enjoyed it to the nub.
Would I buy a box at $4@? No, but I won't spend that much for almost any cigar. Would I buy 'em if they were on sale or auction for under $2@? Yeppers.:)

IMO the corojo is better than the maduro. I am typically a fan of fuller smokes but was pleasently surprised by this little gem!

Wait... a cigar reminded you of burning leaves? Now I've heard everything!
