Single Ashtray
 

Does anyone have any favorite brand or type of single ashtray? I am looking for something relatively portable and not too clunky. Something I can slide into a laptop bag or backpack? I am traveling next month and plan to partake in many cigars over the week and I would like to pick something up. Thanks in advance!

Holts has a nice single cigar all aluminum ashtray for under 10 bucks. It may not be what you are looking for since it isn't flat, but it's light weight and strong enough to take a beating. I have one and use it for robusto/corona size cigars, but anything larger and you will need to dump the ashs mid-way through.

Here is my advise.

Since you wanna store it in a laptop bag.....

I think you should buy a drink coaster made out of a material that won't burn...like marble. Or even some type of small plate for the ash.

and a cigar stand

That way they are both flat and won't take up to much space.

Ok that is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Hopefully it's not windy if you are outside with that one though.

+1 on the cigar stand option. I have one and swear by it! fits well in a pocket, travel humi, whatever. You can also buy a new palio w/ a stand for $36 shipped from the cigar solutions (linked above).

Check out the personal ashtray in the accessories section at famous-smoke.com. Very cool, not sure about size and only $8.99.

Sorry I didn't put the link out there,but at that price it isn't very attractive.
I agree it's cool though.It stores flat and will fit in a pocket.
