San Cristobal Monumento
Date: 4/5/09
Cigar: San Cristobal Monumento (7.2 x 49) Cost: $10.75 Drink: Coca-Cola (the best cola) Appearance: This has a dark corojo wrapper on it. There were a couple small veins showing. The wrapper was flawless. I absolutely love the band on it. The appearance gets a 10/10 . http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...o/100_1675.jpg Taste of the cigar: This cigar is very, very complex. I picked up many different flavors. I picked up on a coffee taste, woodsy taste, cocoa, and a slight bit of spice. I remember the robusto size being much spicier, but this churchill is very well balanced. It is a very rich cigar. Construction: Held an long ash. The draw was perfect. The cigar required only a few small touchups, but I blame this on the wind. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...o/100_1680.jpg My smoking buddy Henry enjoying the cigar as well: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...9/100_1681.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...9/100_1682.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...o/100_1683.jpg Strength: This was a medium-full bodied cigar. Summary: This cigar was very, very good. I nubbed it. They are a little pricey to be an every day cigar, but I could see myself picking up a 5'er here and there. I give it a 9/10. |

Great review. I just bought a box of San Cristobal 'Clasico' and I love them.
Great photos!! Everyone needs a smokin' buddy. My poor Boxer smells like a B&M. |

Wow...what a difference in the tastes of cigar smokers.
I smoked one of these yesterday and didn't even finish it. Didn't like it at all. |
