Triple flame torch lighter?

Any advantage of a triple flame over a twin or single?

It's all personnel preference, I have all 3 types and general go to the single flame around the house just for control on touch ups, I do keep a double flame "swat: on the fishing boat just cause it never blows out

less of a possibility that your fluid will go old? uhm..wait..that's not an advantage. :D

It's personal preference I believe.

Yep personal preference and you can get the cigar lit a little quicker as they cover more surface area at one time. I even have a quad flame dubbed by tedrodgerscpa as the "Shuttle Discovery". :r

I've got a couple triple flame lighters. I don't really find any advantage of them. They eat fluid like crazy, and they seem to be more of a broad axe compared to scalpel when it comes to touch ups. I prefer the good ol' single torch.

I use triples more to impress friends that have never seen anything like them.

The advantage of a triple flame over a single or double?

Ability to perform emergency welding.

While I love my light-up ubershiny triple torch, it's a back up and not a primary use lighter.

here's my jet engine. I use it for my primary and then use a single for touchups.

Single torches or soft flame are my preference for every day cigar lighting but if you have truly bad weather the triple flame is the one to reach for.

Once you've seen the launch in person, you never forget it.

Go with a triple to light bigger RG cigars, but keep a single for touch ups and smaller RG cigars. IMHO
