House blends price
I was checking out some of the house blends that local B&M had and was thinking of picking some up. I check the price on them and the one I wanted was almost $8. Is this common for house blends to be this high in price? I was always under the impression that the house blends where often times on the cheaper side. I ended up getting another $8 stick that i know has a good rep.

Re: House blends price
My local B&M has bundles of his house blend, both in natural and maduro wrappers for $52/25 sticks. Singles go for $3. They are a medium dominican blend that have a very nice flavor profile. I keep a bundle for the times I want a quick inexpensive smoke.

Re: House blends price
Really it depends on who makes them and who blended it.
Our house blend is rolled by Oliva, and was blended by one of Oliva's people, so it's reasonably cheap. $4 per single after tax, $89.91 a bundle of 25 after tax. Some stores I've been to have Pepin or Padron house blends that cost more. Tobacco taxes are also still a factor in any cigar. |

Re: House blends price
One I go to is also done by Oliva. Connecticut, Cameroon, and a Maduro (not sure of the wrapper). All between $3 and $4 and all very nice smokes.
The other B&M does a bundled cigar from Camacho. $1.30 to $1.60 Very nice smoke for the price. |
