Let go of my Ash!

The other day I smoked a Flor de Oliva. Wasn't be overly cautious or anything, but before I new it I was over half way through the cigar and the ash was hanging on still. Ended up lasting for the entire duration of the smoke. The first time it's happened for me. I've had some long ash, but not the ENTIRE cigar.

Looks like a great smoke!

Sticking a paper clip inside any cigar will give them a long ash. :r

Impressive indeed. Speaks volumes about the construction of the cigar.

:tpd: It may also speak volumes of the calmness of the smoker :D

Only seen that when people are keeping the stick tiped up the whole time.
Nice

Very nice, I had that happen with a Camacho once.

Nice

And half of those wind up with ash all over their face.

Was the cigar as impressive as the ash?

Nice! I usually drop the ash all over myself if it gets over an inch long!

Nice, Flor de Oliva's are great with that, I managed to smoke a robusto without dropping the ash once.

Nice

Yea, I've seen that as well. I was walking around, was a little breezy, and when I got within the last inch, I rested the cigar vertical against the ashtray, ran inside to grab the wife and camera to have her take a photo. Good times! I kept waiting for it to break off, but no go.

Pretty cool. I haven't seen one go that long before.
