McClelland Beacon

Guys, this is the real deal!
I've had a can of this kicking around the cellar for the last year or so, I had passed it up for from other blends. Boy was that a bad choice, or perhaps, a good one?

This blend comes in a flake that I rubbed out, and it smelled like straight ketchup. I was intrigued, because generally I know that is a sign I'm going to love the blend.

Once I lit it, things got even better. It's burning great, cool, and slow. I'm getting dark chocolate, brown sugar, and sweet citrus (like a flat sprite) throughout.

If you have a chance, give this a try. Not sure if the rest time is what made it, but at only a year, I can't imagine it was.

Good luck trying to find any more. This blend was made by McClelland who decided to close up shop. Be prepared to pay 3x the price on fleabay.
