I usually drink my malts straight. I've of course heard of adding a bit of water to open up the whisky, but until I purchased a bottle of Balcone's Texas malt at 106 proof, I hadn't understood the need.

Thanks for the video, it was very informative.

If you don't add water, you should cover each glass of whiskey that is not being sampled.
