point per reception -- ours seems to be this type of league: 1 point for each reception.

Yes, and a point for every ten yards.
I readjusted the defense points so you really, really have to have a bad week to lose points of D.
I'd like to tweak a couple scoring settings cause I just looked at them again and I missed removing the "fumbles lost" negative points.
I can look at adding a roster position like Jeremy mentioned.
I can't find my way in to change settings and I have to leave. I'll mess with it when I get home. :tu

I finished what I hope are the final tweaks.
I made a Commish Note.
The only other thing I'd like to suggest is that we use our screen names here for our team names. It'd be SO much easier to figure out who we're playing week to week.
Or at least add your username to your "team slogan" or in your smack talk.
I'm gonna change mine now if I can figure out how.

It doesn't really matter, cause you're gonna lose.
Aside from that, here would be good. Then we can use the league boards to post the prizes and stuff?
Hell, I don't know. Ask Vinnie.

Bantering here means I have to check fewer web sites.

It's all about me, ya' know?

Working late and Rays were on a homestand. Should have time tonight. I will be in by and ranked by Saturday. Not sure if I'll be online for draft. I guess doesn't really matter though, because Vin's going to win anyway!

Is this a live draft or does it go strickly off rankings? How would it work if I was not on and already had 2 QB's but my next 4 ranked players wer QB's? Would I end up with 6?
I usually never miss a draft, but making wife go to a High School football game Friday night have to take her out Saturday night.

Live draft and I believe your scenario is correct although you might be able to find addt'l info on the Yahoo site itself.

After you rank your players enter a mock draft before the official one. change draft order from yahoo default to your rankings. when the time comes don't make a selection, let the 2min clock wind down and yahoo will select for you based on how you ranked players. You can watch along or they will just send you an email with a breakdown of the fake draft. Run it about half a dozen times between then and now and you will get an idea of what the AI of the system will do in those situations.

I'm signing up today Scott. I tried doing it last night on my BB while I was smoking a cigar in my lounge chair in the backyard but I don't think it "took" and I wasn't that motivated to start up the computer and get it done. :D

Hope to "see" a bunch of you guys there, although I'm quite familiar with scenarios where the wife/girlfriend may not let you take your balls from her purse. (I'll be ball-less tonite, for example ...)
