TELECOM / CENTRAL OFFICE DETAIL ENGINEER

*** Based on feedback from my client the two most important items are the ability to write engineering specs and create BOM's for the jobs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Research of equipment hardware
- Research power and cabling requirements
- Apply industry standards as defined in GR1275, TP76400 and TP76300.
- Create work instructions (SOW, MOP)
- Create bill-of-material (BOM) for jobs
- Assemble specification packages for equipment OEM's including:
--- Tellabs, Alcatel-Lucent, Fujitsu and AdTran
- Assemble specs forironwork, equipment racks and DSX/LGX bays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be able to meet the following requirements:
- 3 to 5 years minimum experience
- Work 40 hours plus per week.
- Have working knowledge on central office equipment implementation
- Knowledge of telecom standards per GR1275, TP76400 and TP76300
- Strong knowledge of / experience with hardware installation
- Must be an independent worker requiring minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Familiar with AT&T OT building blocks is a plus.

PAY RATE
$21.00 - $23.50 / hour (may have some flexibility DOE)
