Lars Tetans actually makes good sticks?

So, a small B&M that I've been frequenting is doing a remodel (i.e. getting a walk in humi, lounge, bar.) and is also getting a ton of new sticks. We were talking about his upcoming inventory and he mentioned Lars Tetans sticks. I was caught off guard, because the only thing I know about them is the uhh...Gorilla Finger. The "Pine-sol" stick, if you will. I asked him what he'd be getting from him and he told me that he was getting a few infused and then a 7" x 60 that retailed at 25$ a piece. Now, that is crazy and I don't know what to think of a 25$ stick from a brand that is most well known for a turd.

Anybody know what it could possibly be? I searched for his sticks on Google but couldn't find anything useful

I have had bad experiences with other sticks from Lars Tetans. I have zero respect for this brand, worse than Gurkha IMO. Lars reminds me of Jonathan Drew's evil twin sepperated at birth. If you must smoke infused, go with DE. :2

Also don't let them con you into believing that Lars is the son of god and has been blending tobacco since he was 5. He also won a nobel piece prize for his artwork, it has created world peace. Oh he also designs womens shoes and was the first person to create a shower curtain. Just seeing these sticks in a B&M makes me go somewhere else.

The $25 stick is prolly rolled with fossilized grass clipping from cuban aztecs.

Can you tell I pationately dislike this line yet?

Oh I failed to mention I as got strep shortly after smoking a free Lars Tetan I was given by a sales rep.

I think what Shane is trying to convey to the board is that he is 100% behind this brand and supports them like no other cigar brand. We have Tat whores, DE whores, DPG whores and now our very own Teten whore. :D

I should never post without coffee. Man I was pissy this morning but am feeling better now, thanks to my morning fix.

What I was trying to say is that Lars is a brand I do not trust, their marketing is worse than Gurkha and so are their sticks.
I have smoked a couple of their cigars with bad results.
I do not believe their claims about who Lars is and where he came from.
The cigars speak for themselves, bad.

Don't take my word for it, try them. Decide for yourself and please PM your thoughts or post them back here. Would love to hear somebody enjoyed them. Smoke what you like, the only to know what you like is to try them.:tu

This is an exact qoute he prolly wrote about himself from his site:

"Lars Tetens is a man of so many talents he has been dubbed a contemporary Leonardo Da Vinci by his admirers. People ranging from high-profile celebrities to politicians and presidents of Fortune 500 companies are among his abundant admirers and clients for his consulting company. From five years old, the crafts and hobbies Lars explored as a child have developed products in a broad range of categories from luxury merchandise to science and technology. Today, in addition to being a world famous interior designer, handbag manufacturer, parfumer and chef he is recognized also worldwide for his sumptuous, exotic chocolates, chocolate truffles, a full line of spices and sauces as well as his unique apparel and accessory designs from his house of couture, which continue to set precedents in the fashion industry. Furthermore, he is credited with bringing back the lost ancient art of cigar making techniques that date back thousands of years. Lars continues to amaze fans with his exquisite artwork and original furniture pieces, his innovative designs of skateboards, advanced motor controllers for HVAC systems and his hand-made automatic watches with hand-tooled movements, all of which sit at the zeniths of their industries in quality and design."

Wow! I just read his web site. What an enormous, undeserved ego! Someday, this dude is gonna be in an "I love me jacket" licking daisies off the wallpaper. He sure does love his name, though! I'll bet he moans it during sex, but it's to a mirror and he's alone. :lr
