Being a Chelsea fan, I'm interested in seeing Diego Costa and John Terry playing together. Their interactions in previous meetings were less than friendly lol.

Gabe, Peter, have any feelings about tomorrow's Manchester United vs Liverpool International Champions Cup final?

I know it's only preseason, but still. :po

It's a friendly. To say its a cup is ludicrous.
PKs after 90 minutes? 6 (or more?) substitutions?
What a farce as far as a "competition" goes. About as meaningful as the NFL preseason.
That being said, Go Liverpool!!!!!!

Peter, you're right of course. I refer to it as the "Guinness International Champions Cup" because that's what they've named it. Agreed, it's a preseason friendly for sure. However -- and this is a big however -- I know I don't have to point out to you fellas that these two clubs don't like one another. And when they face one another, regardless of the occasion, I believe each side makes an additional effort. I think it'll be fun as hell to watch.

On a side note, the missus and I took the train down to DC for the Manchester United vs Inter Milan match last Tuesday. I purchased "Dream Seats". Here's a panoramic pre-match view of FedEx Field from Section 24 Row 1 :tu

I regret not going to Chicago! Being Greek it would've been cool to see Olympiakos ( more of a Panathinaikos fan tho) play my beloved LFC! Plus I've never been to Chicago and always wanted to see the town and Wrigley! YNWA

After week 1 no big surprises, Chelsea and Shitty look the strongest. Our win was ugly but I'll take 3 points however I can get them! Hard next 2 games shitty and Spurs! YNWA!!!

Agreed. Getting 3 points when not playing your best is what separates the good teams from the excellent teams.

Falcoa and Di Maria are fantastic signings although I will say what Falcoa is being paid is ridiculous, not necessarily a waste of money if he drastically improves the team, but they could've gotten some other GREAT players at a better price point looking forward to seeing how the change, gonna miss Chicharito one of the only MUFC players I liked and respected!

What is Roy Hodgeson doing to our players??? First Sturridge and now Henderson? At least Diego Costa is injured now do will hurt Chelsea dearly Shuller will be only loan striker and Old ass Deogba too to play between domestic, FA Cup, and Champions league!

If we finish inside the top four I'll consider this season a massive success.

But if we're to do that, things have got to get real different, real fast.

Good luck with that, David.
A top four finish is optimistic. Lots of quality sides at the top of the table.

Completely agree, Peter. But I'm forever the optimist--at least when it comes to MUFC.

I'm itching to get the season back underway. Wish I didn't have to wait until Sunday to face QPR.

QPR should be a gimme. Emphasis on should.
