I knew that :) I used to live in Holland Michigan and Zeeland was just down the road. Been screwing it up ever since!

I wouldn't stay with the hostiles until I could spell the name of their country properly-they can be testy.

It's been quite a while, but I spent two weeks driving around the North Island in the spring (late Nov.) and it was beautiful. The only "tourist" spots I went to were Rotorua, which has lots of native Maori cultural stuff & lots of geothermal activity, and the glow worm caves in Waitomo.

Other than that I just enjoyed the beautiful scenery and meeting lots of friendly people.
