1493
Charles Mann's followup to 1491. Covers the effects seen even today of the Columbian revolution that intertwined Europe with America, China, and Africa. About half way through and excellent so far.

Just finished A Tale of Two Cities - Dickens. Really good book, though on occasion his writing style is hard to follow.

Finished Mortal last night. I'm not sure that I'm a fan of reading a series before they are all published :)

This is the second series that I'm now waiting on the next book to be published...

Dan have you read the second Enemies book by Matthew Bracken? I'm considering getting that one next...

I just started Nerd Do Well by Simon Pegg

I finished off Duff's and it was pretty good, but not as good as Slash's. I've started Adler's book. It's interesting to read how he and slash were friends at such a young age.

The other book I picked up and will start on is Brian "Head" Welch's book.

Just picked up Siddhartha off my shelf. Haven't read it in probably 10 years.

You are a better man than I. Could not finish it. Granted this was a number of years ago, but I have no desire to try again...

I breezed through it in a few days the first time I read it. But I was young and full of idealogical values at the time, along with an open mind towards exploring different religions. Figured it would be interesting to see how my view has changed after years of cynicism and the "real world" have taken their toll. Some books can totally change depending on what path you're on.

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread.

I recently finished up the Hunger Games trilogy, A Study in Scarlet, and The Sign of the Four.

I am currently reading The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes, and Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.

Just finished "The Prodigal Hour" by Will Entrekin...was a free ebook on Amazon...I probably would not have spent money on it, but it wasn't a bad read.
