Pale Ale and Celebration are my two least favorite from SN!!!

If you like IPA, listen to Red and pick up some SN Torpedo!!!

I don't have my camera, but I snagged two six-packs of Spaten Oktoberfestbier from the last place in town to have any (or so it seemed). Nobody had any of the German Oktoberfestbieren here - everywhere I went, just endless cases of Samuel Adams Oktoberfest >:|

I've had it before and it's an interesting and complex imperial stout. Not that balanced and you're definitely aware of the high ABV of 11%. If you like aggressive stouts, then you'll love this one.....I give it a solid B+

Picked up a 4 pack of Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale, and a "gift pack" of Hobgoblin English Brown ale, which came with a 550ml bottle of ale and a pint glass with the Hobgoblin label etched into the glass. For $8.99 I would have bought more if they had more than the one on display.

I was at the Sam Adams Boston Brewery on Monday and picked up one of each of the new Barrel Room Collection. Right now that's the only place you can buy them. There are three styles in the collection a Kriek, a Belgian Blond, and a Belgian Red. It's hard to tell from the picture but these are 750ml bottles (they better be I paid $10 each for them!). I think I'm going to age them a while before cracking them open.

Sweet hauls guys. Love the Chimay, and I'm hoping those new SA bottles show up in MN before too long.
