"Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea" by journalist Barbara Demick.
Descriptions of life in North Korea obtained through interviews with defectors. Just started yesterday but so far so good.

Just finished re-reading the series so that I'm ready for the release of A Memory of Light in January.

I need to start my re-read for the new release.

Did you see Sanderson's statement on the book release and signing in Utah?

That's crazy. I remember when EoTW was first released--I was living in Charleston at the time, and RJ had a book signing inside the Citadel Mall. There were exactly 0 people in line and I didn't even know who he was as I was just happening to walk by.

I'm fortunate in that over the years, I was able to attend events where RJ personalized just about every volume of my set until his unfortunate passing.

Good for you. That's one of only two books in my life that I just could never get through.

Took another diversion from Jack Reacher and read a book that has been sitting on my Kindle for a bit; Resurrection by Arwen Elys Dayton. Pretty good story.
