Pricey especially since the pics of the inside would have me a little scared to keep my sticks inside. The exterior is gorgeous though!

A little lead lining on the cigars never hurt anyone! :r

If this were mine, it would be easy to make some cedar trays and actually use it.

Yah it says it is oak and would need to be lined with spanish cedar I assume!
Beautiful metal work though!

Is that lead, or galvanized iron? I've seen older humis that had galvanized iron or copper linings.

Beautiful humi, UGLY price!!!!!!

I'd be worried about the seal. It probably wouldn't keep the proper humidity.

That is a sexy humi, but something doesn't sit right with me about it. Probably just me.

zinc metal inside  no thanks don't need anymore metal tasting cigars

Re: I so want this humidor!

Early humidors were copper lined, but I don't think it imparts any metallic flavor to the cigars.

A humidor is basically a box within a box. If I really wanted to use it, I'd just make a cedar box inside to do the actual cigar holding. I just want it because it looks all sorts of Victorian awesome.

Saw something similar on the Auction Hunters television show, they found it in a Chicago IL storage Auction. Sold for over $2k but it was in better condition and had the original key.

This one has the key as well. Actually, I wonder if it's the same one you saw? LOL

No it is not, the one I saw had different Iron work and was a darker wood..not oak.

Amazing looking Humidor.

Beautiful exterior and craftsmanship.

Crazy price but I bet they did research and its probably actually worth the asking price I would assume.

Would never use it but for anything other than show.... But What A Conversation Piece You Know!
