Heyyyyyyyyy folks.

So growing up, I always thought wine was that stuff in a big jug for $5.99. Wasn't a fan. But I moved to the middle of Wine Country, CA about 3 yrs ago, and after going tasting with friends a few times, I now appreciate wine.

Drinking a Syrah from Lodi, CA right now. Wine club price is $12 and this s#it is so good, I'm gonna enter it into a blind taste test with some wine snobs I'm hanging out with later this month.

I normally don’t like Aussie wines, but I tried 19 Crimes Banished. It was extremely smooth and full flavored a new go to red blend!

We visited Lodi ack in June and found a number of very fine, inexpensive reds there!

Banshee Cabernet. Nice surprise for a wine I chose just for the label.

My $12 Syrah got 3rd place out of 12. :r

I moved back down to SoCal a couple of months ago. I will miss the wine from up north. Guess I'll have to make a road trip once in a while.

I'm way late on this reply -- but no. Wasn't even aware it existed.

Did have a nice bottle of 2014 Clos du Bois cab. For short money, it was delicious.

What kind of raffle would offer obscure Champagne's like that. Neat!

TD9 by Shafer is easily a $50-60 version of the Hillside Select. Just bought a 6-pack of 2015/2016 to enjoy daily.
