Not sure how many F1 fans we have on here but here's a thread for those of us who love F1 and all of it's nuance, intrigue, cloak and dagger nonsense, etc ...

So everyone is either en route or at Jerez, gearing up for the first test of the pre-season.

Speaking of intrigue and cloak and dagger ... Ron Dennis announced today that Alonso's long-term contract with McLaren-Honda would prevent him from going to Mercedes next season. So it begins ... LMFAO

Also, on a personal note, i'm so glad that JEV landed as test driver for Ferrari. Although I'd love to see him drive IndyCar for Andretti Motorsports.

Although Merc is still way ahead of the pack, it's nice to see that other engine mfgs have managed some much-needed progress in the off season!
