Edie Adams the Muriel cigar lady died Wednesday in an LA hospital. :( http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/TV/1....ap/index.html

There are a few who will remember Edie and her sexy(for their time) commercials. I still remember the opening lines, "The minute you walked in the joint, I could tell you were a man of distinction, a real big spender. Spend a little dime with me!"

She was a wonderful partner with Ernie, but the commercials sold a lot of Muriels. I guess were at the age when we begin to perhaps realize that we know more than we care of those who pass.
