Description: The Senior Help Desk Representative is responsible for the daily end user support for various software packages running on Windows and Mac systems. The software packages include Microsoft Office, Oracle eBusiness Suite, PTC WindChill, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and various other software.

• Assist users with computer, telephone, and desktop software issues
• Respond to requests for technical support primarily via telephone calls and email
• Own issues until closure
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
• Update and maintain documentation and procedures for end-users
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
• Establish new user accounts
• Triage problems - take direct action or, when required, refer to another person, department or vendor
• Install, configure and upgrade computing related equipment as needed
• Install new applications and upgrades
• Work after hours and weekends as required

Education:

• BS degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience

Experience / Skills:

• 3-5 years of related experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed
• Oracle eBusiness Suite experience is a plus
