Episode of Unwrapped

Just stumbled on a great episode of "Unwrapped" on the Food Channel. All about barbequeing but what was great is they showed some of the history of Weber and how charcoal is made. They also had a section on Klose Smokers and interviewed the owner. Damn I want one of those. They said they range from $300 to $50,000! The one I want is about $1,300 but it's the shipping that would kill me. Anyway, if you want to search your cable channels it may be on again. Really good episode.

Unwrapped is a great show. Tons of interesting content. How its made is also a great show. Very similar. Never thought I'd watch how astroturf or bazooka bubble gun is made.

Several years ago I watch a great show on the History of American BBQ on the History Channel. I've never seen it on since, but it was very informative. They talked about the history of Weber, the origins of the different regional BBQ styles, and how the popularity of BBQ grew as urban sprawl happened. Very interesting if you ever happen to see it on.

Unwrapped would be better without Marc Summers
