Don’t sleep on Cincinnati. They majorly improved their team in the offseason

Will the Astros break the all time HBP record this season? 1898 Baltimore Orioles hold the record at 148.

Working an off duty job yesterday at Phillies spring training, no Bryce Harper yet. I was hanging out in the back watching some pitchers, I turned around and I’m standing next to Joe Girardi..not a big baseball fan but that was pretty cool.

Hopefully at least 162 plunks this year. :bx

Go ahead and sleep on the Tigers, they will be lucky not to lose 100 again. Not a lot of confidence in the Cubs either. I may need to become a Cincinnati fan.

Can't do it, Thomas. As horrible as I think the Tigers will be, we love our teams in good times and bad. A lot of bad the last few years. :r

I was a kid watching the horrible 80's & early 90's Yankees and never gave up on them. I understand your dedication Tom.

We're going to our first spring training game on the 29th to see the Nats play the Cardinals. Go Nats!

That is true. He is still my favorite living Yankee.

MLB really blew the chance to have the spotlight on Fourth of July weekend. Oh well. I’m ready for some baseball either way.

Re: Mlb 2020

I'm having a hard time getting into the season.
Watched probably 40% of the Yankee games so far, and only a handful from around the league.
That's a huge reduction for me.
The baseball has been good. Actually better then I was expecting. No rust, and the players are committed. It doesn't look to me like they're just showing up for the paycheck.
That said, hearing so and so could win the batting tittle, or hit .400 this year just doesn't sit well with me, and makes me want to change the channel.
For pure entertainment value, I can watch, but the part of me that loves baseball is left unfulfilled.

Oh, and I loathe the fake crowd noise that's added to the broadcast. It just takes me out of the game...
