Bulk alternative to Hal O The Wynd
 

Anyone ever find one that is similar? I've been tempted to try Scotty's Old Red on pipesandcigars.com.

Scott, I have never had HoTW shockingly enough, but Scotty's Old Red is damn good, and for the right price also. I highly recommend. Also, knowing that you are a big VaPer fan, I add some of my own Perq into the blend occasionally for a little kick and it's great fyi.

HOTW is one of my favorite blends and i have found nothing that compares

I'm sure you know that HOTW is sold in bulk, but there's not much of a price break.

Scotty's Old Red is much more mellow than HOTW. I don't see much of a comparison other than both being red virginias.

I think to compare with HOTW you'd need something with more punch. Maybe as one suggested, try Old Red and add a little extra perique?
